Société aka Mondel Bread aka Ashkenazi biscotti. We met Andrew Black & Eric Bolyard of Black & Bolyard of at our bakery. Eric mentioned that it was difficult for non-cooks to understand how useful shelf-stable spreadable browned butter was. We're all about using the accessibility of cookies to tell stories & moments that matter to us so we instantly knew we had to make a cookie for the people. Enter Société, a shelf-stable honey brown butter biscotti. Mondel Bread, and the millions ways you can spell it, is typically dunked in a hot beverage like tea or coffee. Not ours. Our Mondel Bread is rich in texture and chock full of nutty brown butter flavor. Black & Bolyard told us they really wanted to drive the flavor home so they gave us enough browned butter to add a 1 oz jar of Chef Dave's almond honey brown butter spread (Orliquide) to drizzle on top.
